You can flirt in all sorts of places, though it’s perhaps most socially acceptable at parties or drinking establishments. Schools and amateur sport clubs are often hot-beds for flirting, but avoid high-achieving sports clubs – people who are pushing to reach national finals are not likely to be receptive to flirting!

You can flirt for fun – just to put a smile on someone’s face, before you try flirting with intent. It’s probably best to only try flirting with people of similar attractiveness and who are likely to be responsive to your signals.

When people first start out with flirting most concentrate on the verbal aspects, such as trying to find the best chat-up lines. Instead, try mastering non-verbal communication: it can convey intrest much more effectively, without the risk of open rejection! Here’s how flirting can tell you if they’re interested.
