Adopting an animal is one of those gifts that not only thrills the recipient, but also helps a good cause at the same time. Most people, especially the ladies love animals: I’ve never heard a girl react to a present with more joy than the time I adopted her an elephant!
It helps to know a bit about the person you’re buying for. What is their favourite animal? Is there a local zoo – if so, they are likely to offer animal adoption schemes. Otherwise there are several animal welfare charities who offer animal adoptions. In one go you can give them the animal they love, (but without the need to have to look after it) and enjoy the satisfaction of helping endangered animals – what could be better?!
Adopting an animal also gives you an excuse to take them for a special day out: to go and visit their new adopted friend!
